   In early 2019, as I was studying the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31, the Lord  placed the thought "Striving for Rubies" on my heart. At that time, I wasn’t sure which direction He wanted me to go with it. A year later, He showed me. I was clueless as a sixteen-year-old regarding the unspoken dangers of dating. A lot of girls end up in trouble because they don’t have the tools to handle the challenges of life.

 

  It’s difficult to be a teenager/young lady anyway, but trying to be a Christian young lady adds to the challenge. So, I wanted to put my thoughts down on paper, and during the crazy pandemic of 2020, I wrote a book titled, “Striving for Rubies”.

I wrote Striving for Rubies based on personal experience that I had when I began dating. I did NOT have all of the tools that Christian young ladies MUST be equipped with when dating. Thankfully, the Lord preserved my testimony and allowed my husband to come my way at JUST the right time! Since then, the Lord placed a burden on my heart for the young ladies that don't know the dangers of modern dating.

  Since then, this ministry has grown in my heart. I want to encourage and support other young ladies in a way that I never was. I want you to know that you're never alone. First, the Lord sees and hears you, and second, I'm here and I understand where you're at. 

 It's my desire to help other young ladies and young mothers as we journey to become like the woman in Proverbs 31. I may not ever be worth more than rubies, but I intend to strive to be just that!
